The Folkwang Theater Center in Bochum opened in the summer semester of 2014.
The Bochum campus of the Folkwang University of the Arts offers Folkwang theater training, which is one of the most renowned in the German-speaking world. Around 60 students learn and work in the new theater center.
The Theater Center in Bochum is an ideal event location for various events. This is because a concert hall with 420 seats and the Black Box with 150 seats are available. The event hall can be used individually!
The Bochum Theater Center not only has two performance halls, but also technically top-equipped rehearsal areas for audio and video as well as seminar and meeting rooms.
